There are a lot of cars in the mid-sized stylish sedan area, that get good fuel economy at a very good prices.
Let’s take a look at the 2011 Kia Optima. The Kia Optima has been completely redesigned. It was built in Korea with styling in California as well as Frankfurt, Germany.
The history of the Kia Optima is a midsized four-door, five passenger front drive sedan manufactured by Kia since 2000. The all new design is both inside and out. It gets 24 miles to the gallon in the city and 35 on the highway. It’s powered by a 2.4 liter four cylinder with 200 horsepower. Pricing starts about $18,000.
The 2011 Kia has some standard features that come with all of the Optimas. Those features include keyless entry, power locks, power driver’s mirror, power passenger mirror. along with illuminated vanity mirrors which are important to some of us, cloth seats, driver lumbar support rear seat pass through to your trunk. Also included are front bucket seats, adjustable steering wheel and steering wheel mounted audio controls.
Now as well as AM-FM stereo CD, they do have the mp3 player and the UVO. I recently test drove a Kia Optima. The UVO infotainment system which was jointly developed with Microsoft. It comes with heated and cooled front seats and the new styling as well as a lengthy warranty of a 10 year/100,000 mile.
The big question is, are there any dislikes? There was no lumbar support on the passenger seat and that is important. It can be a little tight on headroom depending on your height if you’re over six feet tall. Vehicles that compete in this category are Hyundai Sonata, Ford Fusion, Buick Lacrosse, Chrysler 200, Subaru legacy, Volkswagen Jetta, and Suzuki Kizashi.
Always remember when you’re ready to buy a new vehicle, test drive as many vehicles as you can in that class. That way you’ll find the right vehicle for you.
