The 2013 Lexus CT200h is a smart, upscale five-seater sports hatchback that shares its key underpinnings and systems with the Toyota Prius. Our test vehicle had reasonable acceleration, with a very comfortable drive all packaged in a unique look for a luxury Lexus. The sophisticated styling on the outside continues to the luxurious interior, prestigious badge, and great fuel efficiency. It is a pricey hybrid full of options.

The test car was optioned with the F-Sport package which adds a sunroof and heated seats. Exclusive to the Premium trim are optional leather seats, a navigation system and the F-Sport Package.

The Drive mode knob allows you to select a Sport mode of driving for added exhilaration or taking a relaxing drive through the neighborhood. The ECO mode selection enables you to save fuel or drive in the EV mode only. This can be adjusted with a simple turn of the switch.

Lexus Enform combines Safety Connect, Destination Assist and eDestination all operated with a mouse link controller. It includes apps for Bing, Facebook Places, iHeartRadio, MovieTickets.com, OpenTable, Pandora and Yelp. It also connects to the internet through your smart phone. The sound system offers an available 10-speaker system, in addition to Standard SiriusXM Satellite Radio.

If you are considering a hybrid, make sure to look for possible tax rebates or credits on select vehicles.
