I’m Lauren Fix, The Car Coach; the 2014 Nissan Rogue is an SUV that is all new both inside and out, with a lot of soft touch features, great ride, good performance, great technology and third row seating. Let’s take a closer.

We test-drove the all-new 2014 Nissan Rogue, which is shorter, wider and longer than the previous version with an all-new interior design that offers enhanced passenger and cargo versatility plus 3rd row 7-passenger seating.

On the outside, the new front-end has LED daytime running lights, LED rear tail lamps and side mirror flood lighting with key fob recognition.

The Rogue is offered in multiple models: S – 17″ wheels and rear view monitor; SV with 6-way power, dual zone climate control and run flat tires; and the SL-which includes leather seating, Bose audio with 9 speakers, Nissan connect with navigation, around view camera, heated seats and mirrors, 18″ aluminum wheels and a power lift gate.

From the safety side, the Rogue includes lane departure, forward collision warning, blind spot detection, moving object detection, 6-standard airbags, active trace control to keep your SUV on the road in turns, active ride control (reduces vehicle vibration and body motion for a smoother ride), and intelligent all-wheel drive with hill start and hill descent controls.

Inside, the center console can hold any type of tablet. Zero gravity seats improve comfort and reduce fatigue. The interior also sports a full color 5″ TFT display. Nissan connect offer hands free text messaging, app integration, text-to-speech, cloud connect, real time traffic, USB, Bluetooth, and smart connectivity and navigation. The 7″ screen offers more apps with iHeart radio, Facebook, Sirius XM travel link, Google search and Pandora.
