Check out the first drive of the 2022 Rivian R1T. Rivian was founded in 2009, several years after the emergence of Tesla, one of its biggest competitors. Back in 2019, Amazon CEO and Founder Jeff Bezos announced that he had struck a deal with the electric delivery van startup Rivian. Bezos intended on using Rivian’s vehicles to attain carbon neutrality two decades from now. Ford and Cox Automotive have invested in Rivian too. Starting at $67,500 with an EPA estimated range of 314 miles. Test car – Launch edition – $73,000.
