The 2023 Mercedes Benz GL has been updated, the new GLC class adds modern tech and offers more luxury than ever. The GLC has a 2L turbocharged 4-cylinder with a 9-speed automatic transmission and a 48-volt mild hybrid system, it gets a combined 255 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque.
The 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC offers such a comfortable drive, the suspension is quite refined, and it provides better ride quality, agile handling, and improved noise comfort with shallow road and wind noise compared to the outgoing model. Mercedes-Benz says the GLC has also improved off-road with several new features and systems including an off-road driving mode and downhill speed regulation.
The new 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC remains the same width as the outgoing model but is over 2 inches longer and lower with improved aerodynamics. The 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC comes standard with LED high-performance headlamps and LED tail lamps, 19” wheels, available 20”, and a temporary spare tire, 18” wheels are standard.
Choose different exterior packages to make it look sportier like the AMG Line with Night package which we have on our test model, it features AMG body-styling, a chrome star patterned grille, black exterior accents, and AMG wheels.
Standard features include an 11.9” touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12.3” digital driver display, wireless charger, over-the-air software updates, heated, power front seats with memory, a heated steering wheel, and a power tailgate.
Fuel economy, the new 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC gets 23 MPG city and 31 MPG highway. It can tow up to 3300 pounds.
The 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC model starts at $47,100, the AWD model $49,100, the Exclusive $51,350, and the Pinnacle $53,550.
The AMG GLC 43 with 416 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque will hit dealerships in Q1 of 2024. The AMG GLC 63 S E Performance with a combined 671 horsepower and 752 lb-ft hits dealerships in Q3 of 2024. It is the first AMG performance hybrid SUV.
