The 2024 Volkswagen Golf GTI is the 8th generation VW Golf. The new GTI 380 package comes with a manual transmission model only. The regular Golf isn’t sold in the U.S. anymore, but the more powerful Golf GTI and Golf R remain. There are some minor changes including power-folding exterior mirrors for all models and a new wheel design for SE models. The Volkswagen GTI is fun to drive all the time thanks to its stout engine and sharp handling. It’s comfortable and offers plenty of cargo space too. Prices start at $31,965.
