The Red Honda badge only goes to Type-R models, this includes race cars. First Civic Type R was built in 1997, through the years the goal is always “Ultimate Sport”.
Type R included a D’shaped racing steering wheel, aluminum shift knob and Type R sport seats. I totally love the sport seats, you’ll want one as a desk chair.

Drivability – great acceleration and deceleration that matches pedal input. The joy of driving a manual transmission sports car really makes the Type -R more fun to drive. The vehicle is lower is wider, better aerodynamics, new chassis, tuned and designed for less body movement and better handling. Adaptive damper and body control give a better hold on the road and track. Bigger Brembo brakes with cross drilled rotors with cooling ducts.
The meter display changes depending on drive mode giving you different information.
The exhaust is unique and sounds great. Available in Champion white, black, rally red, grey and Aegean blue.
All vehicles have Apple car play, Android auto, 20″ wheels, 7″ display auto, Naviagation, 540W stereo system, smart key and LED headlights.
