The idea that “nobody killed or seriously injured in a Volvo by 2020.”

Design of 2017 Volvo S90:

Front wheels are a bit further forward which offers a striking silhouette. Bigger windows for a brighter interior. This is a nice low, long ride appearance.

Updated 2017 Volvo logo, the Iron Mark, pleasantly added to the scalloped grille. Strong detailed headlight is a “Thors Hammer” LED design. It’s part of their theme. In reality, it splits the lighting and adds the DRL lights that give a unique look.

From the side, the new sweeping design elements have a nautical feel. This blends nicely to the tail of the car. The taillights were designed to be elegant.

2017 Volvo Interior:

A classy interior that adds a high level of craftsmanship. Hand stitching on a leather dash was the first thing that caught my eyes. The air blades or vents are not traditional, the diamond cut thumb wheels are a reflection of Swedish glass.

The metal trim is an important emphasis of the new design of the Volvo interiors, it has an architectural feel.

The interface has a 4-panel screen that is very intuitive and similar to the XC90. It’s easy to use, very similar to an iPad. You can add applications to partner in with the functionality of the car.

Technology: heads up display, center touch screen,

The area in front of the passenger is beautiful, especially the walnut inlay. The very calm clean interior is visually pleasing and very functional as well.

The crystal gear lever is a nice addition, but this follow suit with Scandinavian /Swedish design. Interior lighting is designed to cascade a properly light the cabin.

Seats: New safety features include crush brackets, whiplash protection and high comfort factor. The Sensus connect touch screen is very responsive. This I fared technology allows you to change screens even with gloves. Apple Car Play is fully integrated, so it shows up on the home screen. So you can utilize other sections of the interface. Android Auto coming in the next year.

Superb Bowers and Wilkens sound system, 19-speakers, there are digitally tuned options to get the right sound and tone, that can be customized.
