The 2017 Bentley Bentayga

Bentley has been a large player in the luxury car market for some time with models like the Continental and Mulsanne that have set the bar in what luxurious motoring can be like. By 2017, the world will see a brand new model: Bentley will debut its first SUV offering, the 2017 Bentley Bentayga. Set to redefine what we know about SUVs, Bentley aims to make the world’s most luxurious, handcrafted people carrier. This platform will come wrapped in a beautiful package, cue Bentley’s signature design of halo lights and prominent grille. The Bentley Bentayga will set you apart from the Range Rovers, Cayennes, and Q7s of the world whether you are cruising down Rodeo Drive in L.A., or taking a ski trip in the mountains of Colorado.

In technical specifications, the 2017 Bentayga will come with Bentley’s signature W12 engine, pushing 600 Horse Power and a mammoth 664 lb. of Torque. Combined, this will propel the vehicle from zero to 60mph in just 4.0 seconds. That’s on par with most entry-level sports cars. In addition to this, don’t expect to feel too much body roll or road surface, the SUV will come with state-of-the-art adjustable air suspension which will ensure that the ride is unforgettable for those lucky enough to find themselves as passengers.

Entry pricing will start at $200,000, and move steadily upward as you select from the hundreds of various hides and veneers Bentley has to offer. Customization will be almost unlimited, so expect most of the 2017 Bentley Bentaygas you see to be hand-selected and created to match their owners specific tastes and preferences. Bentley claims that this SUV will have technical prowess and ability on and off the road. But don’t expect to find too many of these at your local off-road trail. You will most likely find this model “urban off-roading” in high-end shopping malls and small boutique parking lots.
